I think it's probably a very good facility. It looked like they were taking very good care of their residents. The staff was interacting, laughing, and smiling with the residents. I'd rate it high because for what it is, it's a really good place.

We will keep adding to these pages as we continue to analyze the nursing home database. These are complaints and fines that are reported by CMS. Some of the data is not very recent, but we have decided to include it here so that you have as much information as possible. I have a family member here and the staff are amazing. I was worried about them not being friendly to them but every time I call my family member they always say that everyone is friendly to them.

He received his bachelor’s degree in hospitality management and dietetics from the Pennsylvania State University and his master’s degree in public administration, health care policy from Binghamton University.

The entrance fee allows residents to live in a private and spacious apartment and take advantage of the many amenities on campus. Monthly fees cover day-to-day services and maintenance. My in-laws have friends that live in the independent area of that and they love it. We only just saw assisted living and skilled nursing. We just looked at the common areas and my in-laws were instantly, "No, we're not doing this." For what it was, it looked like a great facility. It was very clean and everything, just a little rundown, but the staff was really good, super nice, super friendly, and took the time out to talk to us about what they offered.

People who need serious care are what we saw there. My mother-in-law still looks pretty young and still is fairly spry. We walked in there and it's like people that look like 100 years old. They want to be able to socialize and be with people that are of similar age. It's not a bad facility and I don't want to say anything bad about it.

They had plenty of staff and they seemed to be taking very good care of their patients, but that instant nursing home smell hit me. After you've seen other facilities and when you go into a facility like that, it's a letdown.

The deep appreciation I have for our armed forces and other heroic professions led me to this company. My job as the Hero Reward Coordinator at Homes for Heroes allows me the privilege of thanking our heroes. In a small way, I hope to support their efforts and to brighten their day, if even for a moment.

My husband served in the Army and I am proud to be a veteran’s spouse. I have always wanted to find a company that helps serve our heroes. It is a true blessing to become part of a company that is doing positive things for Heroes.

Finance has always been my passion when it comes to the type of work I enjoy. The problem with working in this area of business is that is hard to feel as if you are really contributing. At Homes for Heroes I have the opportunity to work with the best group of individuals, doing what I love, all while supporting Heroes in communities around America get rewarded for their service.

In that role, I drafted and advocated for policy changes to improve representation of veterans through the homeless housing system. Grant and wife Cindy are the founders of Grant Realty Trust LLC, the corporate vehicle that owns and operates real estate investments which will comprise the bulk of the legacy which we will pass on to our heirs.
